Nicole Scherzinger, The Wanted and Parade lead the midweeks charts…

It’s all go in the midweeks this week, with Nicole Scherzinger looking like she's about to knock Adele’s Someone Like You off the top spot! Don’t Hold Your Breath has rocketed into the Number One spot, selling 58,276 since Sunday, compared to Adele’s 36,216.

But The Wanted are also giving the top three a big boost with their official Comic Relief single. Gold Forever is sitting at Number Two – just less than 13,000 copies below Nicole. Which means Adele has dropped down to the third spot this week. But that's okay - she's been hanging on to that top spot for ages.

And then there’s lovely girl band Parade, who have happily sold 18,373 of their debut single, Louder! Big congratulations to them as they’re well on their way to nabbing their first Top Five hit!

Over in the Album Chart, Adele's holding on very tight to her poll position with 21. She’s out-selling the second best-seller of the week, The Vaccines (who are a brand new entry this week), by over 40,000 copies! Crikey!

Taylor Swift apparently continuing on with Chord Overstreet

Taylor Swift just might have a new guy to write about as she is reportedly spending some more time with ‘Glee’ star Chord Overstreet.

Swift reportedly met Overstreet through his musician brother, Nash, states UsMagazine.com. So while she did make the first move, it sounds like the feelings are mutual.

The two have reportedly continued hanging out and Swift seems to be having fun with someone a little closer in age.

Katy Perry possibly dissed by Adele for relying on looks

 It seems that some people believe that Katy Perry is relying a little bit on her looks in order to be successful in the music industry.

Adele recently commented on looks and the business and may have taken a swipe at Perry, states Now. “‘If you compare the way I look to big artists like, say, Katy Perry, I’m living proof it’s all about the music because there’s nothing else I’m relying on to do well,” Adele commented.

She also got a little more critical when she noted that her talent has been enough to give her a successful career: “I don’t rely on my tits to have hits.”

While she wasn’t directly knocking Perry, some might wonder why she singled her out as an example. Luckily, Perry hasn’t hidden the fact that she does embrace her sex appeal.
