Her body is admired and envied in equal parts, but it seems Katy Perry is not entirely satisfied with her appearance.
The pop star is putting herself through a gruelling regime of dieting and exercise ahead of her much anticipated California Dreams tour.
The 26-year-old begins the worldwide tour next month, and is determined to look her best when she comes face-to-face with her fans.
In order to achieve her goal, Katy has worked out a special meal plan.

She told music magazine Rolling Stone magazine about the strategy.
'After this interview I'm going to have a nice healthy breakfast,' she told the magazine.
'I'm on a meal plan, which absolutely sucks...'
Katy admits she allows herself a day of indulgence.
'On Sundays I get to have a cheat day where I go buck wild and eat In-N-Out Burger.'
Yet after consuming the calories, the pop star is not allowed to just sit around and watch the television.
'Then I'll work out, go to a vocal lesson, run through the entire set at rehearsals, go to dance rehearsal until 10:00 p.m. and then go home and sort through e-mails concerning the production.

Last week Katy already showed her strength of resistance after being tempted by sweet treats.
'Big ass gummy bear? NOT on the meal plan... But I sure did show him! STFU gummy bear!,' she tweeted, along with an picture of the candy stabbed through the middle.
Katy will tour approximately 15 countries in over eight months for her shows, which she says 'smells like you're in cotton candy heaven'

She will kick off in Lisbon, Portugal, in February.
The tour will take in countries across Europe including Austria, Italy, France, Germany and Switzerland, before reaching Britain in March.
Katy will then return to the capital in October for a show at the O2 Arena, as well as playing further dates around the UK before the tour ends in Dublin in November.
Known for her quirky costumes, she  says she is also going all out on the fashion front , requiring 15 outfit changes per show.
'I have this whole thing in my show that is about candy and cupcakes and meat,' she said.
'It's both really sweet and shocking, but not in a sexual way.'
Despite her hectic schedule, Katy has insisted that it does not put a strain on her marriage to Russell Brand because they plan their date nights months in advance.
'It's not tricky because we've already planned it, like eight months in advance,' she said. 'That sounds absolutely crazy, but that's how we have to do it.'
She added: 'I want to live life and to be able to experience normal things, so that when I'm on stage singing the songs that I think hopefully relate to people, that I'm actually relating - not just singing material.
'Some people I think would die on stage and I don't want to die on stage. I want to be in love, have a future and hopefully be able to be inspired to write songs from that.'
